New Life Ministries International Supports Women at Annual Conference

New Life Ministries International hosted its 26th National Women’s Conference from 6 October to 11 October 2026. Held at Miracle City on Ross Road in Cline Town, Freetown, the event provided support to attendees through a charitable initiative. During the proceedings, more than 300 women received free shopping items.

Rev. (Mrs.) Irene Cole, International Women’s Supervisor and Co-General Overseer, explained the purpose of the distribution. "This is an effort to encourage women to participate every year in the conference and also to give back to women across the country," she stated. The conference concluded after five days of programming aimed at community engagement.

Details of Shopping Initiative

Organizers conducted the free shopping exercise on Friday, 9 October 2026. This distribution took place as part of the broader conference schedule at Miracle City in Cline Town. The logistical planning for the event required significant coordination by the leadership of New Life Ministries International to ensure the smooth delivery of goods to the registered attendees.

Eligible women received three to four items during the event. The selection of goods provided to the attendees included 25-kilogram bags of rice, cloth, shoes, and ladies' bags. These supplies were distributed to support participants who traveled to the conference from various locations, including Kailahun, Bo, Kenema, Bonthe, Pujehun, Kabala, Makeni, and Kambia. Officials from New Life Ministries International managed the allocation of these materials to ensure the items reached the intended recipients. By sourcing these specific goods, the organization sought to provide practical assistance to the women who made the journey to Freetown for the duration of the conference.

Leadership Perspective and Growth

New Life Ministries International established the free shopping exercise as a recurring component of its outreach efforts. Records indicate that 150 women benefited from the inaugural free shopping exercise in 2025. By implementing this distribution, the organization intends to provide consistent assistance to participants over multiple years.

The expansion of the initiative in 2026 reflects the growth of the program since its inception. Officials involved in the planning process monitor the number of attendees to adjust the supply of goods provided to women from various districts. This model of support aims to assist individuals who travel long distances to attend the annual conference in Freetown. Organizers manage the logistics of these items to ensure that the distribution remains a stable feature for the beneficiaries who attend the events held at Miracle City. As the program continues to evolve, the leadership remains focused on the needs of the women who travel from across the country to participate in the annual gathering. The increase in the number of recipients from 150 in the previous year to more than 300 in 2026 notes the ongoing commitment of New Life Ministries International to its membership and the broader community.
